The Royal Cheshire County Show
Cheshire’s rich farming history has always been the Show’s primary focus and this year as we celebrate the 180th anniversary, this is no exception.
Hundreds of exhibits including livestock, poultry, light and heavy horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigeons, dogs, goats and rare breeds will be on display.
To mark the 180th anniversary, The Cheshire Agricultural Society has been planning a 2018 Show which is ‘bigger and better than ever’. Popular attractions will include over 700 bustling trade stands, the iconic Tabley Eye and the return of the notorious Bolddog Lings. Attracting over 80,000 visitors each year, the show has something for everyone.
The display in the Delamere Dairy Main Ring this year commemorates the 180th anniversary of the Society and demonstrates farming through the ages, titled as ‘Power of the Horse to Horse Power’.
The Roberts Bakery Food Halls will host more than 100 local and regional producers with special show offers and treats to sample.
For the discerning shopper amongst our visitors, the hundreds of trade stands will offer plenty of choice and exclusive offers. From the farmers market selling fresh local produce, to the Country Living Marquee and Shoppers Mews featuring carefully selected top quality gifts, crafts and products, retail therapy is available aplenty.
